About

I have been involved in the real-life BDSM scene for 25 years both in California and Nebraska, and am active in the face-to-face kink and LGBTQ+ communities. I have been a presenter at Vortex Omaha, Omaha Dinner & Demos, Demicon (Des Moines), ICON (Iowa City) and attended the IMsL (International Ms. Leather) contest during its Omaha years. In the South Bay Area of California, I frequented smOdyssey’s munches and events such as Folsom Fringe, and had the good fortune to learn from wonderful presenters such as Sybil Holliday and Midori.

I am the founder and organizer of Heartland Crossing, which began in 2014 as a FetLife group with the goal of supporting crossdressers and gender-creative people living in the central area of the United States.

A child of the 80s, I was a huge fan of the punk/new wave music scene, where it was incredibly common for musicians and artists to blur gender lines. It takes a lot of courage to reveal the desire to “dress for pleasure,” especially in a conservative area like the Midwest. That vulnerability is intoxicating to me. I adore it.
